Registered as a partnership of four people, NetSoft Malawi started its journey in 2016. George Hope Chidziwitsano and Eric Samikwa are the founding members. Other partners are Zikani Katundu, and Innocant Kapenda. NetSoft Malawi has proudly established itself as a practical innovative solution provider in the IT industry in Malawi.
NetSoft is a reliable provider of technological and innovative solutions that increase access and usage of information and communication technology to drive the social-economic growth of the people in Malawi, Africa and worldwide.

George "Hope" Chidziwisano
chairman and co-founder
PhD candidate in Information and Media at Michigan State University (MSU) in the USA. He works as a Research Assistant focusing on Information and Communication Technology for Development (ICTD) projects in sub-Saharan Africa. Hope's research interests span across three fields: Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Information and Communication Technology for Development and Computer Science. Hope has been awarded numerous research grants (including the Mary Louise Gephart Donnell Fellowship)... to explore the role of sensor-based technologies in sub-Saharan Africa. He has worked with local technicians in Kenya to develop sensor-based systems for monitoring power-blackouts and domestic security in Kenyan households. He has also developed collaborative digital financial systems for promoting financial transparency and accountability in micro-savings groups. Hope is also a fellow of two prestigious programs at the University of Washington: Data Science for Social Good and Global Innovation Exchange's Access Computing Program. Hope has a master's degree in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) from MSU. He did his undergraduate studies in Computer Science and Physics at the University of Malawi, Chancellor College and graduated in 2015. Hope believes in the amplification theory of technology that technology does not solve people's problems: it is simply a magnifier of underlying human and institutional intent and, capacity. His convictions are based on this theory to understand people first and develop systems that support their intentions and needs
Eric Samikwa
Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Netsoft
A full stack developer with practical experience in developing secure and scalable mobile and web applications. Eric has expertise in Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) with experience in developing early warning systems and holds a certificate in IoT form ICTP, Italy.
